Thank You, Calgaryโ€”and Hello, Vancouver!

Before embracing the scenic vibes of Vancouver, Quazi M. Ahmed, Founder & President, BOND, must pause and offer a heartfelt note of gratitude to Ahmed Wakaar Raja, Co-founder & Managing Director of Prairie Western College, Calgary.

Why this gratefulness, you ask? Well, itโ€™s a three-course offering:

Just like last year, Wakaar bhai invited Quazi M. Ahmed once again to deliver a daylong in-person workshop for the incredible team behind one of Albertaโ€™s most dynamic professional colleges. That kind of consistency speaks volumesโ€”and not just because he speaks for a living!

From the Edmontonโ€“Calgaryโ€“Vancouver flights to an elegant stay at the 5-star Radisson Hotel (only 10 minutes from the airport, because apparently, jet lag deserves no commute), Wakaar bhai ensured everything was seamless. The lunch was delicious, the dinner even betterโ€”and if you know him, you know his memory for food outlasts most of his passwords.

For his work with BOND, he generously offered one of the co-founder offices as his pop-up HQ. There, he had an illuminating meeting with Fardin Ahmed โ€”the sole dynamic entrepreneur in the insurance industry whose journey of supporting friends and family to stand on their own inspired him deeply. He left that 30-minute exchange more hopeful than ever about the impact BOND can have through NRBs in Canada.

To sweeten the trip, his dear friend and marketing maestro Aftab Mahmud Khurshid happened to be on a family holiday nearby in Banff and Jasper, andโ€”by stroke of cosmic luckโ€”he joined their discussions. His presence was the unexpected cherry on top of an already generous cake. Now, he owes his fanbase in Bangladesh a virtual event. Stay tuned!

Each city in this journey has offered something special. But only Ahmed Wakaar Raja, in Calgary, created the space for Quazi M. Ahmed to do what he loves mostโ€”facilitate transformative learning. By the way, he added some pictures from the last yearโ€™s sessions and photoshoot.

Now on to Vancouver, where tomorrow he will deliver his signature keynote on Phoenix Leadership for a curated audience of the Global Conference Alliance. Wish him luck!
