Open Invitation to Bangladeshi Canadians in Calgary
Open Invitation to Bangladeshi Canadians in Calgary
You are cordially invited to a consultation meeting at Prairie Western College from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on June 26, 2025.
An initiative has been taken by Quazi M. Ahmed, Founder & President, BOND (Bridging Organization with NRBs for Development), to engage NRBs (Non-Resident Bangladeshis) who are accomplished professionals and entrepreneurs across the world—especially in the US, UK, Australia, and Canada.
Through various events and programs, BOND aims to engage the Bangladeshi diaspora in these countries to help develop:
1. Educated but unemployed youth in Bangladesh
2. Professionals working in private, social, and public sector organizations
3. Would-be entrepreneurs and startup founders
Of course, most of the programs will be run virtually and through online platforms. However, starting in December 2025, BOND plans to organize NRB Conferences in Bangladesh and in select cities across different countries.
To this end, some professionals are meeting at the address below in Calgary to discuss what the Canadian diaspora can possibly do for Bangladeshi youth and other target audiences:
Venue:
Prairie Western College
915 33 ST NE, Calgary, AB T2A6T2
Date & Time:
June 26, 2025 | 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM (over coffee and snacks)
The event is graciously hosted by Mr. Ahmed Wakaar Raja, a respected Calgary entrepreneur and NRB, who is envisioned to serve as the Chapter Chair of BOND for Calgary.
We look forward to your presence and participation on June 26 at around 7 PM.
Warmly,
Quazi M. Ahmed
Founder & President, BOND
