Dhaka, July 6, 2023 โ BOND (Bridging Organization with NRBs for Development) successfully hosted a thought-provoking talk titled โBillions for Bangladesh: Uniting a Global Diaspora for Local Impactโ in Dhaka, bringing together a diverse group of Bangladeshi expatriates, local leaders, and development stakeholders.
The event spotlighted the immense potential of the Bangladeshi diaspora in driving transformative social and economic change in the country. It served as a timely call to action for collaboration, innovation, and investment in Bangladeshโs future.
The keynote speaker, Anis Rahman, Co-Founder of BOD and CEO of Billions for Bangladesh (BfB), delivered a powerful message on the untapped strength of the diaspora. โThe potential of our diaspora is immense,โ Rahman emphasized. โBy uniting our efforts, we can create a lasting impact that transforms lives and strengthens communities back home.โ
The session was expertly moderated by Quazi M. Ahmed, Founder & President of BOND and Managing Partner of Quazi Consultants. Drawing on his experience in leadership and international partnerships, Ahmed added, โCollaboration is key.
